A stars-and-stripes dragster lights up the rear slicks in a pre-run burnout at Lebanon Valley.
The burnout box is where a lot of drag racing photography actually happens — before the tree even drops, before the run itself. Tire smoke, the launch-day paint job, the driver strapped in and staring straight ahead.
This dragster's stars-and-stripes wrap was hard to miss trackside at Lebanon Valley, and the burnout gave a full second of pure tire smoke to work with.
